* the original recipe was : 2 cup of atta flour, 1 cup of water, pinch of salt
* my recipe is as follows :1 cup of atta flour
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
1 tub of plain yoghurt (i used up the marigold yoghurt which my girl rejected the other day)
mix together
knead for a about 10 mins by hand
leave the dough for at least 30 mins
then divide the dough into 8 balls
shape the ball into flat with some flour
heat up the pan (medium heat)
put the flat dough into the hot pan
wait until bubble then turn
you can also put directly on stove and it will puff! *becareful not to burnt your chapati as i've burnt mine trying to take this photo.. LOL
just a few seconds/minutes and its all done!
you can choose to put some butter or not, if got butter then its slightly yellowish golden
without then its like the plain looking bread like the photo attached
you can serve these homemade chapati with dhall or curry or like me, serve with tandoori chicken and raita dressing :)
