Steamed Honey Cupcakes by Jaimy Chan



Wet Ingredients: 
100ml fresh milk, 1 egg, 2 tablespoon manuka honey (original is maple syrup), 1 tablespoon VCO (original is cooking oil) (MIX WELL)

Dry Ingredients: 
150g superfine cake flour, 30g powdered sugar, 2 teaspoon baking powder, a tiny pinch of salt (SIEVED)

Method:
ADD wet into dry, mix well..(divide a few times)
SCOOP into cupcake holder/mould
PUT into steaming hot steamer
BAKE for 10-12 mins (bigger cupcakes may need slightly longer time to cook)

** ELECTRIC STEAMER : Need to adjust the time as I need it to be steaming hot when I put in the cupcakes so I just put 60 mins cooking, let it run.. by the time I am ready I put in the cupcakes, then I put my separate timer (10-12 mins).. VOILA!

Note:
Wrap with kitchen cloth to avoid any water droplet
