Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup of milk
3 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
Mozzarella cheese & herbs (optional)
Method:
1. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add milk to form a soft dough.
2. Knead gently 3 or 4 times on a floured surface. Roll out into a rectangle and cut into sticks.
3. Put the melted butter into a large baking dish, and turn the bread-sticks to coat them with the butter. Sprinkle with cheese & herbs, if you like. Bake at 200°C for 15 to 18 minutes.
