Black Sesame Mantou by Amanda Tan


Ingredients:
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of blended black sesame (roasted)
2 tbsp of olive oil
1/3 cup of sugar
3 cup of plain flour
1 tsp of yeast

Method:
Put all ingredients into dough maker machine accordingly as above. I used bread machine this time using dough setting. Once done knead a little bit further to flatten dough. Shape to whatever you wish. Place on baking paper and steam for 15 minutes. Serve immediately. Once cooled, keep in sealed bags to freeze. Steam to reheat like pao.

If use hand to knead also can. Just knead until smooth and elastic. Let it sit in a warm place to rise for an hour. (Almost doubled in size). Then flatten dough, cut and shape and steam as per above. 

You can use 2 tsp of yeast and 1/2 cup of sugar for fluffier texture. This is for my 1yo recipe.Same measurements.
