Stir Fry Ginger Chicken by Wang Xing Hui
Ingredients:
Chicken ........... 700 g (cut into small pieces)
Water .......... 3/4 cup
( A )
Young ginger .......... 120 g (sliced)
Garlic .......... 3 pips (sliced)
Whole garlic .......... 10 pips
( B )
Corn flour .......... 1 tsp (mix with 1 tbsp water)
Spring onion .......... 2 stalks (sectioned)
Seasoning :
2 tbsp .......... soy sauce
1 tbsp .......... shaoxing wine
1 tsp ..........sugar
1/2 tsp .......... salt
Method:
1. Stir-fry ingredients (A) with sesame oil until fragrant.
2. Add in chicken and stir for a while.
3. Add in seasoning and water, mix well.
4. Turn to low heat and simmer till almost dry.
5. Add in cornstarch to thicken the gravy, and sprinkle in the spring onion.
