Chunky Tomato Sauce by Angela Ng


























Ingredients:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 brown onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 x 420g canned diced tomato (i used one with 100% tomato & juice)
1/3 cup chopped parsley (i used parsley from the garden)
2 tsp caster sugar
Salt & ground black pepper to taste

Method:
1) Heat oil, add onion and cook till transparent. Then add garlic and cook till golden brown. Keep stirring so you'll not burn them.
2) Stir in tomato and increase to high heat till boiling point and then simmer for 8 mins or till thicken.
3) Stir in parsley and sugar.
4) Add salt and pepper to taste.
