Homemade Cheesy Wedges by Yee SuJuen
Potato:
1. Wash the skin clean.
2. Cut into wedges shape.
3. Soak in normal temperature water for half an hour.
4. After half an hour, dry the wedges with paper towel.
5. Marinate with:-
Paprika powder (optional, coz it's a bit hot, not suitable for toddler)
Oregano
Rosemary
Thyme
Salt
Black Pepper
Oil
6. Bake for 40 mins at 200 Degree Celcius. No oven? No Problem! Coat with eggs and flour then fry it!
Cheesy Sauce:
The base of the sauce I posted here before, this base can make Kim Gary type Cheese Rice.
Butter / Ghee
Flour
Milk
1. Add butter / ghee into hot pan.
2. Add flour and stir.
3. Add milk by batch, keep stirring until thick, then add milk and stir again, add milk and stir again until thickness becomes sauce thickness.
4. Off fire
For cheesy sauce, add ingredients as follow:
1. Cheddar and parmesan (or either one)
2. Salt
3. Mustard- for natural yellow colouring
4. Black pepper
5. Paprika & Cayenne pepper (optional)
After add cheesy sauce ingredients, on fire and cook on low heat, if too thick add a bit milk, stir until the thickness you like.
Can mix cheesy sauce with mayonnaise if you favour.
