Vegetarian Meat Floss by Chin Pei Ng
Ingredients:
Soy bean pulp (from making soya bean)
Olive oil (I used sesame oil)
Sugar
Soya sauce
Seaweed
Sesame
Flaxseed powder
Method:
1. Spread the soy bean pulp evenly on baking sheet and bake for 10 mins at 120°C or until dry.
2. Transfer to wok and add in oil, sugar and soya sauce to your liking (it can be sweet or salty), stir until well combined and dry.
3. Wait until it's cold completely, add in sesame and seaweed. I added flaxseed powder too for the added omega.
The mock-meat floss or soy floss can be sprinkle over Vege, tofu, porridge or anything you like.
I used sesame oil because I put very little sugar and soya sauce, thus the sesame oil helps with the fragrance.
