Yam Meatballs by Wendy Wong


Makes about 23 medium balls

Ingredients:
350gm Minced Meat (approx RM5)
1 small Yam (approx RM1.20)
1 teaspoon Potato Starch
1 tablespoon Oyster sauce (agak agak, original recipe uses 5 spice powder)
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon fine chop garlic
1 tablespoon fine chop red small onion
Sprinkle with some with pepper

For Yam
De-skin & Shredded with grater

Method:
1. Mix Minced Meat & Yam into a bowl, then add in all the Ingredients & mix well. Leave it in fridge for 1-2 hrs.
2. Preheat the oil (as per photo)
3. Hand knead the meat into ball size and deep fried until golden brown.
