Mandarin Orange Sauce Fried Drumsticks by Jenny Puah


Mandarin orange sauce:
1/2 cup mandarin orange juice
1/2 cup water
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp corn flour

Method:
Pour all ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil until the sauce thickens. Strain the sauce if there are flour lumps.

Fried chicken big drumsticks:
3 big drumsticks, with skin, without bone, wash and pat dry with towel. Marinate them over night in fridge with- 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp five spice powder, 1/2 grounded black pepper, 1.5 tsp thick chicken stock

Beat 2 eggs, soak the marinated meat into egg for +-20 minutes under room temperature.
Heat up oil, coat chicken with all purpose flour and fry till golden brown with low heat.
