Stewed Peanuts by Chin Pei Ng
Ingredients:
200g Raw Ground nuts
1 litre Water
2 Star anises
1 Cinnamon Stick ~ about 5 cm
1 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Sugar
5 tbsp Light soy sauce
1 tsp Dark soy sauce
4 white pepper
Method:
1. Soak ground nuts in water for 5 hours or overnight and wash ground nuts thoroughly.
2. Put all ingredients and seasoning into a pot and bring to boil, adjust the saltiness to your liking.
3. Then transfer over to slow cooker and cook until soft (I cook overnight)
