Organic Wholemeal Sweet Sesame Seeds Buns by Jenny Yennee


Ingredients:
A : 450g unbleached Plain flour
100g wholemeal flour
50g unbleached cake flour
80g molasses sugar
1/4tsp salt
10g yeast
2tbsp organic soymilk powder
300 - 350ml water
1 egg
50ml grapeseed oil
White sesame seeds

Method: 
1. Combine all ingredients (except grapeseed oil & sesame seeds) in a mixer bowl, mix well (about 5min). 
2. Then add in grapeseed oil, knead about 10-15min. Then, knead the dough into a ball shape and cover with mixer bowl lid, proof till its doubled in size, about 45min or more depending on the weather. 
3. Transfer it to a clean floured surface. Deflate and divide the dough. Knead or Roll into the shape you prefer. Set it aside covered with a kitchen towel to proof for 45 min. 
4. Apply a layer of egg wash to the dough, sprinkle white sesame seeds on top, and bake it in the preheated oven at 160C for 15-20 min.
