Milk Loaf by Jenny Puah

Ingredients:
A) Dough
350g high protein flour
150g plain flour
30g milk powder
40g caster sugar
8g salt
7g Instant yeast

B)
250ml fresh milk- cold
1 egg- grade A

C)
60g softened butter

Method:
1. Mix ingredients A, add B and mix till dough form, add C and knead till dough is shiny and elastic
2. Let it rise for 45 mins or double in size, divide dough into 4 (330g each), form into balls and let them rest for 10 minutes.
3. Roll each dough flat, and roll up to oval in shape, put them in greased baking tray, let rise for 50 mins or double in size.
4. Cut 5 slits on each risen dough, brush with some evaporated milk.
5. Bake in preheated oven 180C for 25 -30 mins.

I cut them into 2 doughs and brush with full cream milk (used full cream milk instead of fresh milk in dough too), bake with 160C for 20 mins.
