Poppyseed Cheese Mantao by Sng Alina
Ingredients:
(A):
60g bao flour
50g superfine flour
10g poppyseed
15g molasses
1/2tsp baking powder
10g cheese spread
(B)
1/2tbsp superfine flour
1/2tsp yeast
75g lukewarm water
2g molasses
Method:
1. Combine ingredient (B), mix well & set a side for 10 mins.
2. Combine ingredient (A) except cheese spread in a big mixing bowl.
3. Stir mixture (B) into (A) to form a sticky dough.
4. Add in cheese spread & mix to combine.
5. Leave dough to rest for 20min, do not over proof.
6. Divide dough into 3 portion (about golf ball size). Roll into any preferred shape.
7. Steam for 10min over high heat.
8. Serve hot.
