Sweet Potato Ball with Nian Gao by Anna Ng
Sweet potato and Glutionuos rice flour ration 2:1
1. Steam and mashed the sweet potato.
2. Mix well with the glutinous rice flour with some water if texture is too dry. Depends on the water contents of your sweet potato.
3. Scoop a small ball of the dough press into flat and wrap nian gao (chopped into small pieces) inside.
4. Fry in mid heat oil so that the nian gao will be soft inside. Then turn to high heat and fry till golden brown.
