Cereal (Nestum) Boxing Chicken by Vinly Choo
Portion: 4-5 pax
Ingredients A: Seasoning
• Drumstick
• Corn Flour
• Egg
• Salt
• Pepper
• Sesame Oil
• Nestum (for dipping)
Ingredients B:
• Cereal
• Chili Powder – ½ teaspoon – put more if you want extra spicy
• Curry powder – ½ teaspoon
• Garlic
• Curry Leaves
• Sugar – 1 teaspoon – add ½ more if you want extra sweet
• Salt – ½ teaspoon
Preparation:
1. Slice the drumstick downward to become a fist.
2. Then marinate with Ingredients A –Salt, Pepper, Sesame Oil then Egg & Corn Flour.
3. Dip the chicken (after marinate) with the cereal before you fry.
4. Heat up the oil and fry with a medium heat.
5. After the fried chicken is done, clean the wok, and add about 6 tablespoon of cooking oil (estimate).
6. Heat up the oil on medium heat and stir fry garlic till golden brown then add in curry leaves.
7. Stir fry a while then add in all the ingredients B. Then stir fry to golden texture and add in the cereal fried chicken and stir it to mix.
