Sambal Belacan by Jaimy Chan's MIL

Ingredients: 
Belacan (small piece)
2 kg garlic (chopped)
1/2 kg shallot (chopped)
1/2 kg dried shrimp (chopped)
dried chilli about rm 2 (chopped)
sugar
salt

Method:
1. Heat wok, fry the belacan without oil. Then remove and set aside.
2. Stir fry shallots, garlic and dried chilli individually then remove and set aside.
3. Stir fry dried shrimp. Then mix/add shallots, garlic and dried chilli.
4. Under low fire, slowly stir and stir and stir until fragrant. Add sugar and salt, adjust as per taste.
